One of the benefits of being an Eliance Health Solutions member is the ability to access care through our Eliance Preferred Network. Our Clinically Integrated Network of providers includes all Penn Medicine physicians, along with select private practice primary care physicians and specialists throughout our community. The providers in our network prioritize the coordination of care so patients have a seamless experience with their health and wellness journey.

One of the ways Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health coordinates care for patients is through the partnership between their various programs and their Convenience Pharmacy. The Convenience Pharmacy is available to any patient seen by a Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health clinician at any of the organization’s hospitals, family practices or outpatient locations. The pharmacy serves as part of the patient’s coordinated care team and provides a hands-on experience by assisting patients with their medication management. When patients utilize Convenience Pharmacy, they receive care from a pharmacy that is invested in their well-being.

Convenience Pharmacy provides a variety of benefits including:
  • The ability to secure a prescription from one of the pharmacy’s multiple locations throughout Lancaster County. The pharmacy currently has locations in Columbia, Lititz and Lancaster and also has plans to open additional locations in the future.
  • The option to have prescriptions delivered to a residence (if residing within Lancaster County.) This free service includes deliveries of refrigerated and specialty medications as well as maintenance products.
  • Access to the One & Done Program, a medication adherence program that provides convenience to patients by ensuring all of their prescriptions are filled at the same time each month. The program uses an algorithm to evaluate the timing of a medication refill for a proactive approach to medication management. Patients enrolled in this program also have the benefit of participating in a monthly phone call with their pharmacist to discuss their medications, any potential side effects and to ensure compliance is being achieved.
  • Access to the Meds on the Move Program, an offering that provides bedside delivery of prescription medications to a patient’s room as they prepare for discharge from the hospital. The program provides convenience to patients by giving them access to the medications they need without requiring them to make an additional visit to the pharmacy.
  • Access to private consultations with a pharmacist. This offering allows patients to better understand how their medications work together and also provides the pharmacist with an opportunity to check for any potential new medication allergies or drug interactions.
  • Access to vaccinations and immunizations for patients over the age of 18.
The proactive and seamless experience Convenience Pharmacy provides to patients demonstrates how Eliance Health Solutions is working to ensure our members receive high-quality care through our health plans. We encourage our members to verify coverage for a specific treatment or medication before proceeding with a service.
