2023 was a busy year for the Eliance Health Solutions team, and we want to take a moment to reflect on all of the exciting updates that occurred this year!
One of the key updates to our health plans in 2023 was expanding our Eliance Preferred Network (Tier 1) to include all Penn Medicine facilities and providers as well as Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Expanding our Tier 1 Network provides more opportunities for our members to receive exceptional high-quality care and we hope you share our enthusiasm for this update.
In addition to expanding our network, we also introduced our health plan to employers in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Our health plans are now available to Philadelphia businesses, and we are excited to connect with brokers and employers in this community.
We participated in a variety of presentations hosted by Penn Medicine HealthWorks. These events provided local employers with information around HealthWorks’ network of employer-sponsored primary care practices and discussed how the practices are included in all Eliance Advantage health plans.
The Eliance Health Solutions team also attended the Central Penn Business Group on Health Healthcare Forecast Breakfast in October. Our Vice President, Sales and Business Development, Dave Jani, served on a panel of local employers and presented information around the success of our Wellness program at the breakfast. Eliance Health Solutions also served as a sponsor for the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Future of Health Insurance event in October, and sponsored the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce’s Next Level Leadership event where we connected with local businesses and learned about new leadership strategies.
We concluded our year by presenting an educational session around employee benefits and health plan coverage at the Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce’s November Lunch and Learn event. Dave Jani, our Vice President, Sales and Business Development, provided attendees with information around what to consider when choosing a health plan for their business and served as a resource for the companies in attendance.
